Facial Veins

Treatments Available

Telangiectasias, (commonly known as spider veins) form on the face when blood vessels become dilated. The most common causes are aging, alcohol consumption, injury to the face, changes in weather, and sun exposure.

We treat telangiectasias with a vascular laser that specifically targets these vessels, heats them up and causes them to collapse. The veins are closed, but they can reopen. You may need require more than one treatment to close the veins or touch-up treatments at a future time.
